Best room in Seoul I've stayed at

Very comfy, clean and classy. Doesn't have a creepy vibe

I booked the comfort leisure room. It should have game console. Saw the xbox but not the joystick. What's the point of keepsafing it elsewhere and make the guest ask when you paid for it. Also didn't quite like the buffet resto. Called a lot of times before they picked up and when I came the staff that I talked to couldn't confirm my reservation. They accepted me anyway. But the food isn't really that good for the price

Convenient but conference guests and slow lifts impacted the stay.

Third time I’ve stayed here and as always convenient location, comfortable rooms and great views.

The elevators are so slow. It becomes an issue when a huge conference of people are lined up around the corner outside to use the elevators - because lobby is on level 21 it ties up the lifts. This stay, the same conference of people were smoking and drinking everywhere - even in the elevators, at all hours. It’s the first time I felt a bit unsafe here/Seoul ever because they were standing out front drunk and there were leering and words, as a solo female traveller this isn’t the type of environment I want to put myself in. I even saw the police visit one night. I know this isn’t strictly the hotels fault but it did impact my stay. Also the front desk gave me incorrect information about late checkout so when I called to arrange and it wasn’t available as told it did impact my plans. all in all I still like the hotel but I might check next time if there’s any large groups of people for conferences before I book.

Adequate for a short stay if rates are reasonable but do not expect much in frills or great service.

Well located if attending events/exhibition at COEX. Rooms are adequate, the highlight was the bed which could be electronically adjusted.

Service is brusque, with hardly a smile (not what you wld expect from the Shilla brand). They also won’t check you in if you arrive early though luggages can be stored. In all other hotels I have stayed in they wld check you in and even send luggages to rooms when ready. Rooms were small for 2 luggages. Blinding signages from building opposite.

comfortable and convenient

great location near a train station and the room was really comfortable. the gym was great too.

no full length mirrors in the room or even the elevators so I had to use the gym mirrors to check outfit was okay. The lifts are really slow too

Great Hotel Location!

Loved the location; down the street from the Starfield Coex Mall. Right outside the Samseong Station.

Village View suite was actually a “No View” Suite. Windows were frosted so only light came in. Not sure the reason, probably private as many high rises are in the area. Could’ve been advertised better.

I like location

Location was just perfect. Standard room was littlebit old and smelly so i paid more and upgraded my room. So i stayed in comfort leisure room and it was awesome! Suitable for business trip.

How can guest stay old and smelly room? I think they should’ve change my room without extra charge. Except that it was good for business trip

The room was nice and clean, well equipped too. Even though the view is nice, it is not very soundproof when you're on the street side of the building. Helpful staff

Not directly link to hotel, but the LED screen shine directly into my room day and night as my room is in low zone.

great location.

Location of the hotel was great. Very easy to get around and get public transport. Massive shopping mall across the street with lots of options for food. Great if you are going for short business trip and/or an event at COEX, the convention center nearby.

Staff at the hotel was not helpful or maybe just not trained properly. Asked for simple help a few times and they were clueless and trying to do minimum effort. ie. It is mandatory for all foreigners to get a COVID test within 3 days of their arrival. There is an official list of places to go tested so I took the list and link to the staff at the lobby to get help on the best place to go near the hotel, times of opening/closing but they could not do it. I tried different people and the last person was just annoyed that I asked and told me it was too long to do!. They did not bother trying the link that was in Korean and printed out the file I show her. On another ocassion, I was told there is a bus that goes from and to the airport regularly, so I asked them how to take that bus and they told me they did not have any information about that and to get a taxi instead. Fortunately, I happened to find out that the bus and place to buy the tickets for it was in the mall across the road, so ended up doing it all on my own. Tried a few more times for advice to get around but I never got any help. It was impossible! Cafe at the hotel opens at very limited times so every night I tried to go for dinner they would be closed or last order was alredy taken. The only day I managed to rush before they closed they told me I had no reservation. I pushed a bit and they agreed for me to dine-in but then indicated I needed a face mask. I am aware masks were mandatory but in the restaurant you sit down and remove the mask so is less than a 5 second period when you have a mask on. I said I left it in the room and it will take too long to get as the elevator was crazy slow but they would not let me in. So I was never able to eat at the hotel other than breakfast at 7am. There are 3/4 elevators in the hotel but they will take over 3/4 min to take you anywhere.

Wonderful

The location was good, and the staff conversant in English. The cleaning staff made sure to come and clean the room every day.

The lifts took some time to come. Breakfast times are a little short. The light from the electronic billboards is very bright.
